The Episcopal Conference Center is an excellent place for groups to gather, including parish, vestry and youth retreats. The rustic facility, natural surroundings, variety of communal spaces, and relaxed and comfortable accommodations offer a perfect location for prayer, reflection, worship, and celebration. The simplicity of the conference center, freshness of the air, and warm hospitality allows visitors to feel relaxed and renewed.

ECC offers both day use and overnight rentals. To check availability, please complete the Booking Request Form. Please read the below information prior to completing your request form to ensure ECC is good fit for your group!

Housing

Main House Rooms

Our primary facility for conferences is the Main House, which is an old sprawling farmhouse. Overnight guests stay in the “Wing” where we can accommodate up to 32 guests in single, double, and triple occupancy rooms. Shared bathrooms are available on each floor, with two rooms that have a private half-bath. Rooms in the Wing are attached to the Main House, which has small rooms for breakout sessions, a larger meeting room, and our kitchen and dining room.

Cabins

Heated cabins are also available for adults or young people looking to have more of a "camp" experience during their stay. ECC has several adult-friendly cabins with twin or full sized beds, as well as cabins with bunks. All cabins have electricity but no plumbing. Guests make the short walk to the Main House or the Bathhouse to access bathrooms. There are 10-30 beds/bunks available in heated cabins.

Dining

We can serve up to 50 people, with 38 seats in our main dining room and 12 seats available in our adjacent conference room. Food is served buffet style with a full salad bar available at every meal. ECC is allergy friendly and attempts to accommodate dietary restrictions as needed.

Available For Use

Equipment available for your use includes a TV, a DVD/VCR player, easels (with newsprint and markers), a digital projector, a piano, sports equipment, Prayer Books, Bibles, Hymnals, and basic liturgical supplies. ECC also offers free guest Wifi.

The edge of the property sits on Echo Lake, and it is a short walk from the Main House to our private beach. Lifeguards can be made available for groups looking to kayak or canoe.

Our ball field is a great place for baseball, softball, and kickball games, and volleyball and basketball courts are also available.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • ECC is not available for bookings (day use or overnight) Thanksgiving week/weekend, mid-December - January, late June, July and August.

  • Minimum group size for Non-Episcopal RI Parishes is 15.

  • For reference, the rate for 2 overnights with 6 meals for Non-Episcopal RI Groups ranges from $190-$220 per person. Please complete the booking form to check availability and get rates for your group.
